Status Framework

Authoritative status states

Every registered QR identity occupies exactly one authoritative state at a time. States are issued and changed by the Registration Authority and recorded in QRCodex.

Dormant

A QR identity exists but has not been authorized for operational participation.

Pending

Registration review or authorization is in progress.

Registered

Registration authority has been granted.

Live

The registered identity is actively operating within the ecosystem.

Suspended

Operational authority has been temporarily removed.

Revoked

Operational authority has been formally withdrawn.

Expired

The registration authorization period has ended.

Archived

The operational lifecycle has concluded while preserving historical traceability.
